Personal Information Processing Policy

Koromed (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) processes and safely manages personal information in compliance with the provisions of the “Personal Information Protection Act” and related laws and regulations for the protection of freedom and rights of data subjects. In accordance with Article 30 of the “Personal Information Protection Act”, the personal information processing policy is established and disclosed as follows in order to guide data subjects on procedures and standards for the processing and protection of personal information, and to facilitate the processing of related grievances quickly and smoothly.

1. Purpose of collecting and using personal information

2. Personal Information Items Collected

– Name, Contact, Email, subject, Inquiries
– Access IP, browser information, visit date and time

3. Period of retention and use of personal information

– After three years of storage from the date of receipt of the inquiry, it is destroyed without delay
(However, if preservation is required in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, it will be stored for a period prescribed by the relevant laws and regulations)

4. Right to refuse consent and disadvantages

– You have the right to refuse to consent to the collection and use of personal information.
– However, if you refuse to consent to essential items, you may be restricted from receiving inquiries and consulting.

5. Procedures and methods for destruction of personal information

When the personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the personal information retention period and the achievement of the purpose of processing, the ‘Company’ shall destroy the personal information without delay. The procedures and methods of destroying personal information are as follows.

The information you enter for inquiries, etc., will be transferred to a separate DB after the purpose is achieved (a separate document box for paper) and stored for a certain period of time (refer to the retention and usage period) according to the internal policy and other reasons for information protection under related laws and regulations. Personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than being retained unless it is by law.
– How to destroy it
Personal information recorded and stored in the form of an electronic file is destroyed so that the record cannot be reproduced, and personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is destroyed by grinding or incinerating with a grinder.

6. Installation, operation, and rejection of cookies

Websites can use cookies for user convenience. Users can refuse to save cookies through browser settings. A cookie is a small amount of information sent by a server (http) used to operate a website to the information subject’s browser and is automatically transmitted from the information subject’s browser to the server when accessing the website. The information subject can set settings such as allowing and blocking cookies through browser option settings.
